Commercial Cleaning Safety Standards: Our Commitment to You

A Cleaning Site Manual is prepared for each customer site. This includes key documentation including our Company Policies and Procedures, Insurance Documents and Accreditations along with key Health and Safety Documentation. This manual can either be prepared in hard copy format, or provided electronically for you to retain for your own records.

Shine Cleaning Solutions also prepares a site-specific risk assessment for each customer site. All the chemicals used in the day-to-day cleaning of your workplace are COSHH risk assessed and both the COSHH Risk Assessment and the Manufacturer Safety Data Sheet is provided. 

Task risk assessments are also provided which break down each cleaning task clearly and concisely and are prepared in line with the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICs) training and guidelines.

All of these documents inform the training our staff receive and ensure full compliance with both our own stringent health and safety policy and all applicable legislation.

We can also undertake additional and specific training onsite with our staff around Health and Safety and we do undertake periodic Health and Safety Toolbox Talks, which are brief and snappy training updates on topics such as Accident Prevention; COSHH; Touchpoint Cleaning and Sanitising; Personal & Building Security; Fire & Electrical Hazards, etc.

Our management team hold a range of cleaning specific and health and safety certifications, giving us a depth of knowledge and expertise that underpins the trust our customers have in us.

Additionally, we are Alcumus SafeContractor certified and are independently audited each year to ensure we comply with the highest standards in health and safety management which not only look at our documentation and evidence for our cleaning operations but also training of staff, monitoring of subcontractors, etc.

Quality Checks on Shine Cleaning Solutions’ Commercial Cleaning Safety Standards

Our Cleaning Managers ensure the delivery of our quality standards. You will see Cleaning Managers onsite, not only to check-in with the cleaner, but to undertake cleaning audits to check on our implementation of commercial cleaning safety standards and note any corrective actions that must be addressed.
